Institute of Scientific Research

1.To draw up medium and long-term plans for the development of scientific research and academic exchanges in schools. Organizing the formulation of relevant policies, management systems and evaluation mechanisms.

2.To manage various scientific research projects. Organizing the cultivation, construction and application of various vertical, horizontal and foreign cooperative scientific research projects.

3.To organize scientific research platform. Including plan, declaration, construction, operation, assessment and evaluation of various key laboratories, bases, research centers, think tanks and other platform bases.

4.To evaluate the cultivation, various scientific research achievements, and application, funding with intellectual property rights. Organize the transformation and commercialization of scientific research achievements to promote to the industry.

5.To cooperate and carry out domestic and foreign scientific research cooperation, academic exchanges, school-local cooperation, school-enterprise cooperation, etc., plan, organize and manage various scientific research activities.

6.To be responsible for the whole process of editing and publishing the Journal of Guangxi University (Philosophy and Social Science), Journal of Guangxi University (Natural Science Edition) and Genomics and Applied Biology.

7.To plan and manage military projects, to implement the confidential military projects.

8.To undertake the functions of the Office of the Academic Committee of Guangxi University, the Secretariat of the Association for Science and Technology, and the Secretariat of the Federation of Social Sciences.
